Photo Shoot

Well this past week has been good, but also busy. We have been working on competition with cheer and we have had to make many changes to the routine, but the girls are progressing! Eric's Mom's family had a Christmas Dinner on Thursday, and it was good to see them all. I gave a presentation in one of my classes on the media and how it influences eating disorders. It went well, and I was going to post a movie on here that I showed in my class but it didn't work when I tried to post it. Eric's friends, Brady and Krystal came down from Idaho and stayed with us for the weekend. I went to Westlake High School with the cheerleaders, but we lost the game by about 6 points. After we went to Cafe Rio with Brady and Krystal. Saturday Eric and Brady went ice fishing early, and Krystal and I went Christmas shopping. We had fun, and the guys met us at the new Texas Roadhouse in Orem. If you haven't gone yet, you should! It is amazing. On Sunday Brady and Krystal left, and after church I had a photoshoot with a friend. It was fun, and we got some really cool pictures. He does photography, and if you ever need a good photographer for family pictures, he takes great pictures. The theme for the photo-shoot was masquerade, Can you tell?

etiquette dinner for PRSSA

Last night we had our first annual PRSSA Etiquette Dinner. It went well and we had a good turn out. We learned many things that I never even thought of before. The food was good, and it was fun meeting new people. We learned what utensils to use for each part of the dinner and how to act during a business dinner. The teacher was Anna King and she did a great job at presenting. We had a lot of fun and many PR professionals came to sponsor UVU's PRSSA Club.

Winter Wonderland

Well last night I went to the Bateman meeting, and I got an email from one of my teachers. She said that I had to do a presentation on my country report. I didn't know until 9:00 last night that I was going to have to present. Since I was gone last week on the cruise everyone signed up and the only time open was for the next day. I was stressed out because I had a law test and another presentation the next day. Well I woke up early and made a poster, researched information on Costa Rica (my country) and then I went to class. I presented both, and I handed out bananas since Costa Rica's main cash crop is bananas. Luckily, since the huge blizzard was coming through they closed the testing center! I was glad because I was already worn out with all the school work. They are going to let me take the test on Monday. I also got a parking ticket because I took my parking permit off my mirror on the way to California and forgot to put it back on. Luckily, I was able to talk UVU out of charging me because I never had a ticket before. I thought this day was going to be horrible, and long but it went by and things turned around. It is nice being home and have it snow outside. It hasn't snowed as bad as I thought it was going to. I am excited for Thanksgiving too.

BYU v New Mexico

We went to the BYU game with my cousins. It was cold, but BYU beat them. We had fun and we hung out and played games later that night. Whit and I went to the Riverwoods Mall and they have it decorated really cute for the holidays. They even gave us free apple cider, and we bought apple pie carmel apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory :)

Mexico

The Baja races were going on while we were in Ensenada, Mexico. There were so many people there but it was warm and fun.

Mexico

This is in Ensenada, Mexico; and on the Cruise when we ate dinner when we dressed up for dinner.
